was reading the book "Called to be God's leader---lessons from the life of Joshua"...
got reminded of how though we have a lot of things to handle in our lives, it should never validate how some times, we skip our QT...we always talk abt meditation as focusing our minds on God...so when can we meditate?...
here's wat the author says, "Meditation is focused concentration. It does not require a lonely ountaintop or a convoluted body position. Itdoes not call for a trance or a mystical chant. Biblical meditaion involves pondering on God's Word until He makes its full implication clear. It is staying in God's presence till God has helped you to understand wat His Word is saying to you."
particularly to leaders... "the wisest thing a spiritual leader can do is to seek God's wisdon. Careful evaluation of God's Word is a must for the sake of everyone involved. It is the leader's responsibility to help their people understand God's promises and respond to His invitations."
besides, since most leaders r often tempted to exalt their own knowledge n wisdom n use them to solve problems, constant meditation of God's Word n talking to God will remind us of how little we r, n how God's wisdom n knowledge is so so vast as compared to ours...keeps us humble n thankful for who God is...:)
