had vocals retreat today! :) xiang led worship. samuel played the guitar. qianjin gave teaching. kim, star, meng, pete n fongyee led games. hee...all of them did a great job!...*clap clap clap*
1 thing i got back from the teaching is this concept of "free labour"... quoting from qianjin... "there r 2 ways we can use our gifts - 1 is to use it for God, another is to use it for urself." a lot of times when we do things in the name of "to God be the glory"...but deep down in our hearts, is it really really for God's glory?... "if we use the gifts for our own glory, then we're providing free labour for God coz at the end of the day, when u go heaven, u'll see that God kept no records of wat u've done 'in the name of His glory'"...to me, tt isn't very worth it...

I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. not that we cannot pray in public...but that when we pray in public, are we really communicating with our dear God or are we merely acting spiritual?... same issue...for God or for urself?
