had my 21st birthday party today! :) so happy that it is over!...finally can concentrate on my school work le...:) hee...if u know shai, u will know that party isn't really shai's kind of thing... so, many pple wondered why did i want to hold a party though i don really like it...
actually, initially, i was too lazy to plan and i din want pple to come for the party and just spend the 2 hours there just mingling with the people they might be seeing every wk in school or in church...but den, God challenged me to sing for my parents during the party coz it was a good chance for me to sing to them since they kept complaining about how i always sing in church but never sing for them...hee...hope that they were touched...n now, shai really got to be a better daughter...need God's guidance in it...n please keep me accountable...:)
sooooooo...actually the party was more for my friends in school to know wat i'm always doing in church (since they know my commitments in church are quite high)...n tt came in when my friends performed for me...coz then it gave me a platform for me to point out the certain pple i hang out with...though only pauline and tinghui were there (the rest went off early), i'm happy that i was able to share to them coz these r the pple who will actually wonder how come i spend so much time...yay!...so 1 objective met! :)
hee...thank kew all for coming...seriously, i really appreciate that u all make time for this coz though i think the venue is not the most convenient place and this is not exactly the best timing to hold a party since many deadlines to meet, u all still chose to set aside time for this...:)
yihui and esther, thank kew so much for being willing to take time out to practise so that u can perform for me...saw u all staying back after cg to practise instead of gg to fellowship...:) florence and reginaaaaa, thank kew for being so courageous to take up this last min dedication of the song "thousand miles" for me...:) yaoguo, though u r piano pro, still need to practise de...so thank kew for taking time out to practise even in the midst of preparing for musicians training as well as school work :) shannnnnnnn...u like in every performance!...hee...seriously super touched by ur acts of service to me...shan's the organiser, shan's the keyboardist, shan's the singer, shan's in cleaning up and clearing stuffs...shan's in everything...hee...thank kew so much shan...:)
all in all, the party was considered a success coz i think pple have fun and pple who are concerned or interested in wat i do in church got a glimpse of it as well...n i even got a surprise tt zhou zhong is a lyricist and she works with a composer and so next time, opportunity that we can work together!...so cool!!!! :) thank kew God for everything that You've done in this party and in pple's hearts...:)
